Sharjah Museum of Art
The Sharjah Art Museum exhibits upstairs a small collection of orientalist paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries related to historical themes of the region. The ground floor regularly hosts temporary exhibitions of high quality, and much larger than the permanent collection.

Practical information for the visit
Allow 15 minutes to visit the permanent exhibition. Much more for temporary exhibitions. Free entry. The museum is open every day from 8am to 8pm, except Fridays (open from 4pm to 8pm).
