Dhayah Fort
Dhayah Fort is very well preserved: it was the scene of the Qawassim's resistance against the British until their capitulation on December 22, 1819 when Rams' Sheikh Hassan Bin Ali and all the people around refugees in the fort lost the battle that the British had initiated 5 days ago.
Guide to visit
Situated at the top of a hill (a 10-minute walk to climb), it offers a panoramic view of the Al Rhams coast, palm groves and mountains. At the foot of the hill are dates and a guest house. The entrance is free.
